January 2021

  • Ray Kimble was elected to the board at our annual meeting on Jan 18, replacing Nancy Jones. Many thanks to Nancy for her service, and to Ray for stepping up!
  • We continue to see wildlife around the neighborhood; the Whatleys in lot 15 got a black bear on camera in November, and Kerri Mallams captured this photo of a bobcat persuading her child to leave a tree in the common area behind lot 9:

February 2018

Spring 2014

  • One new board member (Tim Debolt) was elected at our 2014 Annual Meeting. The 2014 HOA board consists of the following directors: President is Peggy Hurd, Vice President is Steve Smith, Secretary is Gil Aiken, Treasurer is Tim Debolt and the Director-at-large is David Porter.

Spring 2013

  • One new board member (David Porter) was elected at our 2013 Annual Meeting. The 2013 HOA board consists of the following directors: President is Peggy Hurd, Vice President is Steve Smith, Secretary is Gil Aiken, Treasurer is Phil Swayzee and the Director-at-large is David Porter.

Spring 2012

  • Two new board members were elected at our 2012 Annual Meeting--Steve Smith is now Vice President for the association, and Gil Aiken is our new Director-At-Large. Many thanks to outgoing board members Myrna McCleary and Joyce McNeely for their years of service to the HOA.

  • The Go East landfill property owner has resubmitted an application to Snohomish County Planning and Development Services proposing Landfill Closure and a 95 home development. Public comment period is open until July 9th, 2012.
  • Snohomish County PUD is currently in the process of replacing the main power feeder lines in the neighborhood.

Spring 2011

  • Two new board members were elected at our 2011 Annual Meeting--Peggy Hurd is now Secretary for the association, and Phil Swayzee is our new treasurer. Many thanks to outgoing board members Sallie Johnson and Bradey Honsinger.
  • The Everett Herald published an article on the Go East landfill closure on April 3rd, 2011--there's a link on our Proposed Go East Development page.

Winter 2009

  • Snohomish County Surface Water Management will be undertaking two projects next summer to improve drainage on the slopes at the north and east boundaries of the neighborhood. More information is available in the minutes of the January 15, 2009 annual meeting. The plan that Chris Kirkendall of Snohomish County presented at the meeting is available for download here:

  • The 2009 Annual Homeowners' Association Meeting was held on January 15th at the fire station. Chris Kirkendall of Snohomish County Surface Water Management presented plans for drainage improvement projects this summer; Treasurer Sallie Johnson announced reduced annual dues; Vice-President Kai Hunt announced the formation of a Neighborhood Watch program; Secretary Bradey Honsinger presented this website and the new neighborhood email list; and Joyce McNeely and Myrna McCleary were elected to the board. Meeting minutes have been mailed to members.
